Coordinate the preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance of all plant and infrastructure equipment.
Follows and ensures full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Responsible for plant sustaining capital projects management (Justification, Engineering support, Procurement, Cost Control, etc.).

Plans maintenance activities in a way that is compatible with the overall operation of the plant.
Ensures all contracts and project site meet the safety policy requirements for our employee’s safety.
Establishes the environment as a priority and ensures all local and provincial and federal regulations are met or exceeded.
Embrace RCA process and actively drive and promote it within the department and plant.
Provide cost budgeting, cost forecasting and control of department expenditures.
Ensure the competence and development of department employees (hourly and salaried).

Required Work Experience: 7 to 10 years.
Cement operating experience (would be an asset).
Strong leadership skills
Travel Requirements: 10%.
Education: B.S. degree in engineering.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Excellent time management skills.
Good project management skills and experience.
Field of Study Preferred: mechanical, electrical, industrial or similar.
Required Technical Skills: Heavy industry equipment experience (mobile equipment, rotary kilns, mills, conveyors, crushers, cooling towers, dust collectors, etc.) strong computer literacy with various software programs (including Maintenance specific), Microsoft suite.
Excellent planning skills.
Knowledge of RCA.
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
