- Generate technical documentation such as test report and specification for electronic circuit.
- Product support during complete life cycle from development to tender and commissioning of project
- Influences quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
- Occasional global travel for product validations, product testing and supply chain integration activities
- Ensure correct and accurate technical documentation is generated consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Interface with electronics manufacturers and suppliers.
- Performing routine and type test specifications and pre-commissioning testing of converter valves

- Educated to degree level in electronic engineering
- Has experience of circuit verification (bench testing) and validation (integration testing) testing.
- The candidate requires a good level of the technical understanding and working experience of digital and analogue electronic design including power supply circuit, control and protection circuit of power electronic device such as IGBT and thyristor.
- Good communication skills
- Has some knowledge and experience of model based product development tools (MATLAB, Mathcad, LTspice). (Preferred attribute)
- Has some knowledge of firmware logic design.
- Has knowledge of digital electronic circuit design and development.
- Independent and team worker (Pro-Active)
- Has knowledge and experience of design or application of power electronic driver circuit.
- Has knowledge of analogue electronic circuit design and development.
- The candidate should demonstrate a high degree of knowledge and understanding of electronic components and principles.
- Has knowledge of failure analysis and root cause analysis. Has the ability to participate in problem solving activities such as 8D or similar.
- Has knowledge and experience of in board power supply circuit design and development.
- Good technical communication
- Able to work to deadlines with high quality
- The candidate is expected to have good knowledge and experience on testing to validate electronic circuit using prior experience and on-the-job training. It is required to have technical skills and analytic thinking to perform fault analysis and design improvement, this include performing bench level and high voltage testing.
- Has experience of electronic design for EMC.
- An enquiring mind and desire to learn new skills, an ability to apply different engineering methods and a willingness to share knowledge are essential qualities.
- EHS compliance ability
- Expectation to travel 20% of the time across the world.
