Construction Manager

Description

The position manages delivery of specific work packages, meeting KPIs for safety, quality, cost and programme, and works closely with trade/sub‑contractors, internal teams and stakeholders.

• Support the team in driving performance, delivering performance management, technical development and coaching.
• Oversee the structure or fit‑out of a specific area/package, ensuring site conditions, programme, quality and safety standards.
• Liaise with project package managers and follow direction on programme and critical‑path work.
• Lead forecast look‑ahead meetings for the assigned area or package.
• Provide detailed planned‑vs‑actual data and escalate deviations to construction leadership.
• Apply the project’s digital strategy and locate construction information as needed.
• Manage close‑out of the area, adhering to QA/QC plans, ITPs and handover procedures.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilise the Centre of Excellence knowledge base and company best practices.
• Promote business priorities in construction, production, digital, data and responsible practices.
• Collaborate on net‑zero carbon transition, identifying and managing carbon emissions and reductions.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Have relevant field experience.
