Description

Plant WD | Finishing Latex Operator | Shift 2. This role is responsible for sewing secondary backing together and operating the selvage bailer and adhesive pan.

• Operate the selvage bailer and secondary applicator
• Maintain proper viscosities for the applicator
• Give breaks for sew‑on operations
• Work in an industrial environment with noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations

Requirements

The operator works in a normal industrial environment with background noise, dirt, humidity and temperature variations, and must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 70 lb repeatedly, and perform occasional reaching, handling, walking, and climbing.

• Sew rolls of secondary backing together for continuous production
• Stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and hear frequently; occasional reaching, handling, walking, and climbing
• Lift up to 70 lb ten times per shift
• 8‑hour non‑rotating shift; start time PM; observed calendar; hours fall to in‑punch day
