Shape the Payroll function and become an integral member of the Geovert Finance Team

The Senior Payroll Manager is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll across the Geovert Group. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, and company policies. This role provides high-level payroll expertise, support, and guidance to payroll staff, and plays a key part in continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems.

Requirements

You’re a proven Payroll Officer or Manager, preferably from ground engineering or civil construction, bringing technical fluency, an eye for detail and a continuous-improvement mindset. We offer a flexible and autonomous environment where your ideas are valued.

• Minimum qualifications: Certificate IV in Payroll Administration (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Experience with Payroll Metrics (desirable) and NetSuite. Willingness to assist in continual improvement of Geovert systems
• Strong stakeholder engagement and are capable communciating with our employees across the business.
• Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment legislation, awards, tax, and superannuation.
• Experience a collaborative, multicultural and down-to-earth team environment where your ideas for improvement are welcomed and valued.
• Demonstrated experience reconciling payroll accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Minimum 5+ years end-to-end payroll processing experience
