The Lead HVAC Estimator will manage estimating activities across multiple branches, collaborating closely with operations, purchasing, and executive leadership to ensure real‑time coordination, accountability, and consistency. This position supports both production and custom residential projects and safeguards profitability through disciplined estimating.
- Lead estimating for production and custom residential HVAC projects.
- Create and maintain standardized estimating processes, templates, and pricing models.
- Review bids for scope accuracy, code compliance, and profitability.
- Support branch teams to meet builder bid deadlines.
- Coordinate HVAC load calculations and system design reviews.
- Analyze labor, material, and overhead assumptions to protect margins.
- Mentor and support estimating staff across branches.
- Act as technical and pricing resource for operations and leadership.
- Assist with strategic pricing, value engineering, and builder negotiations.

Candidates must have at least seven years of residential HVAC estimating experience, preferably in a high‑volume production‑builder environment, and demonstrate strong knowledge of HVAC systems, duct design, equipment selection, load calculations, and cost analysis. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with estimating software, along with excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities, are required.
- Minimum 7 years residential HVAC estimating experience, preferably with production builders.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, duct design, equipment selection, and load calculations.
- Proven experience in high‑volume builder environments.
- Solid financial and cost‑analysis capabilities.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with estimating software.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work on‑site in New Port Richey, FL.
