Performs duties required to receive, store, and maintain records on component parts. The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and maintaining accurate records of component parts. This role involves counting, verifying, and organizing all product components.
- Picks parts from preprinted pick lists and issues slips. Contacts planner and/or supervisor if shortage occurs. Uses Tablet & scanner for all warehouse transactions.
- Maintains electric truck and fork truck in good operating condition. Maintains prescribed water level in batteries and plugs in for overnight re-charge.
- Perform a variety of routine duties involved in shipping of merchandise. This includes but is not limited to accurately selecting, checking and packing merchandise called for in customer orders; weighing shipment, sealing cartons, applying labels, addresses, and packing slips, and loading merchandise on to trucks.
- Meet or exceed daily production requirements
- Operates virtual scheduler, computer, scanner and material handling equipment including forklifts, electrical hand trucks, pallet jacks and step ladder to reach material. Uses crowbar and mallet for crates. Must have all necessary certifications for use of material handling equipment.
- Carries out proper verification methods as part of the cycle count program.
- Maintains necessary records. Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
- Fosters conditions that allow people and communities to reach their full potential
- Frequently moves average weight materials (over 5 lbs. and up to 60 lbs.) as necessary in the performance of the job or as directed. Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervisor.
- Responsible for selecting, and maintaining location of raw materials. Opens crates with crowbar. Breaks down empty crates for disposal
- Responsible for filling, operating and maintaining automated chip wringer.

Occasional exposure in production plant where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas.
This position works primarily in an office environment using computer and technology. Verbal and auditory capability are required.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Competent to operate computer and complete basic data entry in systems
- Proficient and functioning in job responsibilities and able to attain Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) training sign-off within 90 days
- 100% accuracy on any inventory transactions and quality requirements
- Well organized
- Skilled in using various types of material handling equipment preferred
- Ability to attain forklift certification
- Basic arithmetic skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Attention to detail is essential for success
- Ability to perform repetitive work requiring constant alertness or activity, including standing and lifting
- Ability to push, pull, lift and/or move materials of up to 30 lbs; capable of using hoists for materials over 30 lbs.
- Must successfully learn specific responsibilities as assigned and adhere to production procedures
- Is mindful about family, health and well-being
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment safely
- 100% adherence to processes and material usage, no deviations
- One (1) year of experience in warehouse / manufacturing environment
- Ability to use computer scanning devices
- Capable of following verbal and/or written instruction
- Organizational skills

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications.
Salary range: $27.44 USD - $29.56 USD
