Actively participate as a designer on NPD & project work.
Attend internal & external project design meetings offering valuable input to improving current designs.
Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, tolerances, & quality standards.

Utilise previous industry experience & knowledge to produce detailed fabrication drawings & 3D models using AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor.
Able to work full time hours at our design office, 5 days per week.
Comprehensive understanding of technical drawings & specifications.
IT Proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent communication & presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance innovation, practicality, & compliance.
Knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software & parametric modelling would be advantageous.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a sheet metal fabrication environment. (preferably in access cover/roof hatch design & fabrication)
