The Lead Technical Field Associate (TFA) will oversee site activities after completing Level III competencies, handling planning, organization, integration, and monitoring of labor, tools, and technical assistants to meet contractual scopes. Working within defined parameters, the Lead TFA makes complex decisions, resolves issues promptly, and ensures work at customer power‑generating facilities aligns with technical and safety standards.
- Manage and coordinate site activities, including planning and resource allocation.
- Perform on‑site installation, preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration of equipment.
- Respond to emergency repair requests and troubleshoot a wide range of equipment vintages.
- Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives on installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Prepare and submit technical reports, job status updates, material orders, quotations, timesheets, and expense sheets.
- Sign off on all changes and ensure compliance with GE safety standards.
- Coach, mentor, and train team members on field engineering and product knowledge.
- Conduct walk‑downs during installation to verify contractor work and ensure parts are shipped to site.
- Execute aftermarket upgrades at customer sites as required.
- Travel extensively to project sites and various field locations.

The role requires extensive travel to diverse field assignments, flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and overtime, and a commitment to FieldCore’s vision and core values. Success will be measured by customer satisfaction, safety performance, and the ability to coach and develop team members while delivering high‑quality technical documentation.
- Hold a technical/university degree or equivalent experience; high school diploma with 4 + years field services acceptable.
- Minimum 7 + years experience in field services or power‑generation equipment maintenance.
- Successful completion of Level III training programs.
- Proficient in reading electrical/mechanical diagrams, laser alignment, and thermal growth equipment.
- Fluent in English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with Alstom, Siemens, or other OEM equipment is desirable.
- Demonstrated organizational, project management, leadership, and business acumen abilities.
