Industry Expertise & Mentoring: Maintain up to date and relevant knowledge of industry codes and standards, regulations, and design and analysis techniques suitable to the nuclear industry. Provide guidance, instruction and mentoring to less experienced engineers
Project Success & Leadership : Develop innovative design studies, define project scopes, and create accurate engineering estimates to drive project excellence. Foster a positive, goal-oriented environment with your motivational leadership style, empowering teams to achieve success. Participate in project meetings to discuss technical and project issues (e.g., design, scope, schedule, and budget)
Innovative Design & Analysis: Bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to solve complex technical challenges and push projects forward. Develop finite element models and perform seismic analysis such as Modal Analysis, Response Spectrum Analysis, Time History Analysis, and Equivalent Static Load Analysis. Perform Soil-Structure Interaction Analysis to generate in-structure response spectra (ISRS) and to extract displacements, forces, and moments at various structural elements. Design and analyze concrete and steel structural elements located within a nuclear facility such as equipment foundation pads, large liquid storage tanks, equipment and pipe/conduit supports
Precision Calculations & Quality Assurance: Execute essential civil/structural and seismic calculations that form the foundation of successful designs and installations. Perform design verification and peer reviews of engineering evaluations, designs and documentation produced by others. Prepare high quality, error-free engineering deliverables and reports according to industry codes, standards, regulations, and guidelines and in accordance with client and ENERCON Quality Assurance (QA) Programs
Client & Proposal Support: Support proposal development including defining the technical scope, estimating the required level of engineering hours, and other project related costs. Travel to plant sites to interface with client personnel, and to perform walk downs of plant structures, systems, and components related to the project work scope
