Test electrical systems using appropriate tools to identify issues, ensure system safety, and confirm compatibility. Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnoses, and steps taken to resolve issues for each project or situation. Determine necessary steps to assess and troubleshoot electrical situations using testing devices, blueprints, and maps.
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements, reporting any violations to a supervisor. Use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts to work on electrical systems in commercial properties. Keep tools and equipment in good condition and safe for use. Maintain general housekeeping and organization of the work area. Bend conduits ranging from ½″ to 4″ and utilize required tools for each specific task.
We are currently seeking a skilled, motivated, and experienced General Foreman to supervise crews on complex construction projects. The General Foreman is responsible for safety, scheduling, assignment and supervision of manpower, work performance, material procurement and planning, quality control, communication with the project team, and onsite customer relations.
Must have experience running electrical projects valued up to $10 million. Effectively and strategically plan work, schedule manpower and tasks to minimize labor costs, order material and equipment ahead of scheduled installations, and manage tools. Must be able to read and understand drawings, submittals, specifications, and BIM detailing.
Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills. Stay up to date with changing technology, Loenbro business systems, electrical codes, and safety practices. Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
10+ years of experience in the electrical trade. Ability to develop and manage construction schedules for large-scale projects and adjust as needed. Ability to contribute to installations or direct others through the installation and troubleshooting process.
Ability to coordinate manpower and resource needs effectively. Ability to coordinate or place material orders following price comparisons. Maintain compliance with company, state, and OSHA safety standards.
