Key duties include preparing and modifying drawings during design and construction, understanding design and drafting for multi‑family dwellings, light commercial and commercial buildings, assisting in functional, preliminary and detailed design drawings, producing construction documents, and coordinating with sub‑consultants and project team members.
Candidates must have a civil engineering technology diploma from an accredited school, a minimum of five years’ relevant experience—ideally in consulting—and strong proficiency with recent versions of AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office. Experience with wood‑construction design and drafting, excellent communication, and problem‑solving skills are required; equivalent experience or education may be considered.
