Coordinate external freight bids for combination of service and cost to select best carrier partner.
Partner with internal permit department to ensure freight movements are compliant.
Coordinates with the local Branch Manager and Dispatchers to determine efficient scheduling of equipment that utilizes branch-level and Maxim resources in the most cost-effective manner.
Schedule movement of cranes and crane components with internal or external trucking
Partner with Regional Crawler Managers to locate and transport crawler components for assemblies or reconfigurations.
Partner with Operations to coordinate the build of load sheets for both national and local freight moves.
Update and provide tracking information to internal business partners.

3+ years’ experience using CMMS system (JD Edwards) in dispatcher or scheduling role
Advanced knowledge of local geography
3+ years of construction, or fleet related industry with transportation or heavy equipment experience preferable
High School diploma or GED
Advanced computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
Excellent time management and communication skills
