Participate in training programs to stay updated on best practice in Highway maintenance and NEMS compliance.
Develop a good working relationship with our client and partners
To work a 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift pattern
Book relevant road space for all parties as requested onto the National Highways booking system (NEMS).
Assist with training and development of new team members as required by the NCC Lead
Undertake gate opening responsibility for all 3 operational depots across the M40 contract and assist with receiving deliveries
Collect and record data to support Red and Green claims.
Contribute to the development of best practice and standard operating procedures for the team.
Assist the NCC Lead and planning department on compliance to National Highways 7-day closure notification
Assist with the reporting of near misses, undesired circumstances and injuries in line with Health and Safety regulations and processes
Record data on various databases and spreadsheets to meet the National Highways Audit requirements
Assist with logging, closing and compiling information & data for Customer Contact Centre enquiries and claims
Support the 24/7 operation and assist with cover for shifts, sick leave and holiday periods
To fully engage with the promotion and adoption of any current and future health, safety and wellbeing initiatives rolled out by Egis Road operation M40 Ltd and/or Egis UK.
Accurately log jobs for motorway incident management such as, but not limited to: collisions, debris, defects and vandalism.
Liaise with ISU Operatives, Supervisors, Managers, Senior Management and escalate issues where necessary
Respond to CCC logs, distribute to UKH or redirect to National Highways DBFO representatives if requested by NCC Lead
Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports and KPIs
Record and check abnormal load movements and special orders against an exception criterion and escalate where needed.

Previous experience of roadspace booking & the National Highways Network Event Management system (NEMS).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Skilled in prioritising tasks effectively, ensuring urgent and high-impact work is addressed promptly
