The person is directly accountable for lead generation, brand awareness and product portfolio management for this segment in line with the UKI and European objectives.
There is also additional responsibility of liaising with European segment team and actively provide input to R&D projects and support development of communication campaigns.
They will need to capably make use of the full spectrum of marketing media to most effectively connect with the marketplace.
They will also have full control and responsibility for the end-to-end marketing funnel from market/ industry research, understanding of customer buying journeys, persona definition to aid meaningful value proposition development through to value-adding campaign development to attract, engage and convert prospects into sales-ready leads.
- Use Product management skills to improve efficiencies, increase margin, etc outside of promotional activities, utilising all of the 7Ps
- Budget management, reporting and measurement of campaigns and activities.
- Planning and execution of multiple omnichannel campaigns.
- Owner of communications for the segment including content creation; social media campaign development; pay per click campaigns; website and SEO optimization.
- Increase market share across agreed segments products / offers / solutions highlighted as part of the business strategy.
- Define, communicate and implement the correct segment / offer / product strategy to deliver a successful go to market for new and existing offers, through research of local segments and their collaborators, working with Channel and Strategy management, Commercial Sales, and Central Marketing, and the creation / localisation of tailored value propositions, campaigns and sales tools.
- Reporting on all activities and sales ensuring smart measurement and delivery of an agreed return on investment through well planned and implemented strategy and planning, and management of allocated budget for the segments owned.
- Maintain and develop relationships with targeted trade associations and trade media to effectively cascade segment propositions to a wider target audience as well as leverage their industry research, knowledge and connections.
- Manage Local product / offer / solution within owned segments through their lifecycle (from launch to end of life) by working closely with key partners both locally and globally, maximising performance.

An opportunity exists within the UK Marketing Team for an experienced Marketing Specialist who will be leading our Food, Beverage and Agriculture product lines.
This role is suitable for someone who enjoys building relationships as the role is very people centric.
The individual will have strong digital marketing skills combined with a willingness to stay up to date with the constantly evolving MarTech as AI develops further. Additionally, the role requires strong collaboration both internally and externally.
- Proven experience in a Marketing role within a large Corporate Environment.
- CIM qualification.
- Strong written, communication, presentation, training and negotiation skills.
- Able to work at pace under pressure on multiple projects.
- Meet the required level of knowledge of segments / products / offers and solutions through external research.
- IT literate – CRM, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Google Advertising, social media campaign manager/s.
- Expert in stakeholder management.
- Demonstrable marketing analytical skills to correlate results, objectives and inputs.
- Strategic problem solver with a solid business understanding and commercial approach to marketing activities.
- Degree Qualified.
