We're offering a new permanent opportunity for an Engineering technician in our Metering Team to play a key role in installing, configuring, and maintaining AMI metering devices, communication modules, and network components. You'll ensure systems meet both internal and regulatory standards, while using your diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to support accurate data collection and reliable network performance.

  • Work closely with engineering and IT to troubleshoot complex integration and data flow challenges.
  • Keep detailed, accurate records of configurations, tests, and network changes for asset traceability.
  • Provide on-the-ground technical support and training to field teams, ensuring safe and consistent installs.
  • Test, commission, and validate new metering tech, firmware upgrades, and system integrations.
  • Diagnose and resolve metering and communication faults to keep data accurate and systems running smoothly.
  • Champion compliance and contribute to innovation projects that boost system performance and customer outcomes.
  • Monitor data and network performance to spot issues early and drive continuous improvement.
  • Install, configure, and maintain AMI meters, comms modules, and network components to meet high safety and regulatory standards.
