Locate/retrieve/reproduce and distribute documents;
Assist with drafting strategic communications objectives and goals in conjunction with organizational directives as requested.
Provide briefings, presentation materials, analytical reports, concept papers, and critical issue papers for both internal and external use;
Design, develop, and produce desktop publishing products and services to effectively communicate command mission and objectives and support SEA 04’s sponsored activities, projects and events;
Input new action items in appropriate tracking system & mark complete the reviewed items via Program Office letters;
Organizes material and completes writing assignments according to set standards regarding, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology;
Reviews and edits material prepared by other writers and recommends revisions or changes in scope, format, and content;
Assist/lead with preparing briefing material for leadership;
Communicate effectively, deliver high quality documentation free from errors, and communicate effectively;
Update tracking systems with information from weekly correspondence update meetings;
Review, format and route correspondence for signature;

Experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel is required.
Bachelor’s degree in technical writing or communications, or any technical, or managerial discipline is preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience with drafting/coordinating/presenting papers, briefings, and presentations at the Flag Officer/SES level.
A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in technical writing, communications, program management, or business management.
Demonstrated knowledge of DoD program management, technical, or business management.
Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Navy or DoD is preferred.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
