Key responsibilities include creating 3‑D roadway geometries with OpenRoads, producing 2‑D infrastructure plans, generating cross‑sections, calculating volumes, and preparing point lists for construction. The technologist will coordinate closely with engineers and other disciplines to ensure cohesive and compliant designs. Ideal candidates hold a diploma as a civil‑engineering or architecture technician and have at least eight years of experience designing roadway infrastructure. Required technical skills include proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation for drafting and InRoads or OpenRoads for 3‑D road modeling, strong knowledge of Quebec Ministry of Transport (MTMD) and Canadian Transportation Association standards, and solid MS‑Office abilities; familiarity with ProjectWise is a plus. Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is essential.
