• Manage the grant application process from start to finish, including tracking deadlines and submission requirements.
• Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding sources, including government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
• Edit and proofread grant applications to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to guidelines.
• Maintain organized databases of submitted proposals, funding opportunities, and outcomes.
• Assist in program development by providing insights on funding trends and best practices in grant writing.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary data and information for proposal development.
• Develop and write clear, persuasive grant proposals that effectively communicate the goals and needs of our organization.

Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and motivated part-time Grant Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for our programs and initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of program development, contract management, and fundraising strategies. The Grant Writer will collaborate with various departments to gather information and create compelling proposals that align with our mission.

Benefits

Hourly range for this role will fall in the $25 - $32 per hour.

• This role is responsible for raising a minimum of $200k in FY26 and $300k in FY27 through growing our existing relationships and seeking new opportunities.
