

Provides water and wastewater services across East England, focusing on sustainability and innovation.
As Lead Quantity Surveyor you will act as a commercial subject‑matter expert, delivering the SPA contract area within budget and reporting to the Commercial Manager. You will ensure commercial integrity, manage costs, forecast values and support alliance-wide commercial management.
The role’s core responsibilities include providing accurate cost and value reporting, capturing and allocating costs correctly, running robust risk‑identification processes, assisting the Commercial Manager with reporting requirements, leading cost‑reduction initiatives, and establishing commercial forums to ensure governance compliance.
Required qualifications include a Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent, RICS/CIOB/ICE professional membership, experience on large civil or infrastructure projects, knowledge of NEC3 contracts, strong data‑analysis and SAP skills, and experience drafting construction contracts. The candidate must thrive in a complex matrix environment and demonstrate leadership, integrity and a collaborative mindset.
