- Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed.
- Replace lighting and ballasts.
- Maintenance and repair of Fume Hoods, Bio Safety Cabinets, Vacuum pumps and compressors, generators, pumps, exhaust systems.
- Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary.
- Maintenance and repair of Boilers and HHW systems.
- Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts.
- Escalating problems or issues to Manager in a timely manner.
- Perform Vehicle and equipment Safety Inspections.
- Attend work and safety meetings as required.
- Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
- Complies with all policies for the safe storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Maintenance and repair of basic Electrical systems.
- Practice Defensive Driving at all times.
- General interior maintenance and light carpentry tasks.
- Completing preventive maintenance, tours, and repair work orders in mixed lab and office facility.
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
- Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
- Maintenance and repair of building mechanical systems including HVAC, Pumps, Motors, Chillers, AHUs, RTUS, Fan coils, and associated Exhaust Fans.

- Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled.
- EPA 608 certification a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Understand and follow PPE requirements and signage.
- Ability to navigate the web-based work order system to update and close out work orders in a timely manner.
- Basic plumbing skills, sink, faucet, toilet repair, etc.
- Strong Customer Service skills.
- Comfortable using Outlook mail and calendar as well as Microsoft word and Excel
- Advanced knowledge of building mechanical systems including HVAC, Pumps, Motors, Chillers, AHUs, RTUS, Fan coils, and associated Exhaust Fans.
- Rotating On Call Availability Required
- First shift on-site position (Flexible Start Time)
