  • Facilitate the development of a Zero Harm leadership culture focused on manager-led delivery of positive outcomes.
  • Lead and coach incident investigations using ICAM or equivalent methodology.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on all Zero Harm matters, providing guidance and support to leaders and employees.
  • Conduct risk assessments, trend analysis, and deliver training/coaching as required.
  • Monitor legislative changes and communicate best practice initiatives.
  • Implement The Downer Standard (TDS) and support delivery of the Zero Harm Strategy.

  • Experience conducting WHS/OHS management system audits within the past 2 years.
  • Previous practical experience within a Workplace Health & Safety or OHS related role.
  • Formal work health and safety qualifications (Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline)
  • Trained in ICAM or equivalent investigation methodology [mandatory].
  • Strong skills in risk assessments and verification of site safety management plans.
  • Ability to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
  • Exposure to high-risk industries, preferably construction, infrastructure or FM.
