Arrest Officer

Description

• Handling situations calmly and professionally, even when they get challenging.
• Arranging payments, planned surrenders, or where needed, making an arrest and ensuring safe transport.
• Issuing receipts for all payments received and to inform courts of all payments taken.
• Ensuring post-incident procedures are followed.
• Completing the necessary paperwork and updating handheld devices so everything is recorded properly.
• Travelling across the region (and sometimes beyond) to make sure warrants are executed on time.
• Visiting addresses listed on court-issued warrants and carrying out instructions.
• Carrying out any other tasks as required in connection with the service, execution or return of warrants, summonses, orders, and notices, including obtaining and reporting information regarding the customer and/or the actions taken in executing a warrant.

Requirements

• A strong communicator who can talk to people at all levels.
• Organised and able to juggle a large workload.
• Someone confident but fair, with the ability to defuse conflict.
• Calm, professional, and respectful in high-pressure situations.
• Basic IT skills (handheld device use & simple reporting).
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
