Provide accurate weekly projections of manpower based on PMP’s

Review the kit Electronic Bills of Materials (EBOM’s) and field installation “EZ” drawings with Foreman prior to delivery to ensure completeness and accuracy
Review specifications and drawings for assigned projects to determine cost savings ideas with project team.
Provide technical support as needed
Accurately forecast labor needs to ensure that proper manpower levels are maintained
Maintain ongoing and open communication with Foreman, site management and Project Management.
Participate in weekly manpower meetings

Manage field workforce and communicate issues to Human Resources
Facilitate a review of all installation “EZ” drawings with field foreman to ensure cost savings ideas are implemented and or constructability issues are resolved
Provide accurate project manpower projections and update weekly
Attend all assigned project Installation Turnover meetings to provide guidance and feedback on constructability and project flow to project team.
Attend meetings as necessary for field related items with project team and general contractor
Ensure that project installation is on track
Manage and execute Corrective Action Plans as required
Coach individuals on their career goals and progress
May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Monitor Foremen vehicle usage
Assess and evaluate Site Supervisor’s skill set and develop an individual training program to address gaps
Assess journey workers to identify potential future Site Supervisors and facilitate their development and promotion to Level 1 foreman
Delivery Schedule coordination
Monitor codes, specifications, and installation methods. Maintain thorough knowledge of systems and equipment being installed
Attend all weekly assigned reoccurring project meetings
Review SIS’s weekly with Foremen and make labor adjustments as required
Maintain and Update Manpower log indicating current and future manpower projections
Identify field training needs and utilize the Workforce Development Team for assistance and implementation
Create and manage overall project schedule (Capacity Overview) and update as required or monthly at minimum
Review and Monitor labor efficiencies, hours and ratios.
Provide project information to all new workforce starting on the project
Update manpower needs to the needed manpower log to ensure that requisitions are properly and timely requested from Recruiting
Manage field force and communicate issues to HR
Assist Foreman in planning the job, ensuring that material, manpower and equipment are onsite to perform work
Identify critical path tasks and their durations. Coordinate internally with project manager and foreman for implementation into project schedule to eliminate potential issues and capitalize on schedule opportunities.
Ensure 10-5-2-1 is performed with proper internal and external notifications as required
Design and deliver training to all Site Supervisors on how to develop the skills of upper-level trainees through journey level craftspeople

Minimum of 15 years of electrical construction experience
Ability to verbally communicate: convey detailed and accurate instructions and information.
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Required to have visual acuity with or without correction in order to read contract documents, analyze data, view a computer monitor, and proof-read documents to identify errors.
Site leadership competency at Level 5 Foreman or higher

Strong internal and external customer orientation
Ability to hear with or without correction in order to receive and interpret detailed information.
Good verbal and written communication skills, including speaking to large groups and provide group training
Required to use fingers and hands: type using a computer keyboard, handle, feel, and reach.

Frequently required to walk and stand. This position may involve infrequent site visits which will require the ability to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Must have, or be willing and be able to obtain within 6 months of starting, an OSHA 30 construction certificate & CPR/ First aid certificate
