As a Superintendent, you act as the bridge between the project team and clients, overseeing all field operations, including procedures, productivity, quality, labor costs, and staffing. The position emphasizes safety as a core priority.
You will lead small‑size field projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high‑quality standards. Responsibilities include managing project schedules, site logistics, constructability reviews, safety audits, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
The role requires strong leadership, recruiting and mentoring foremen and tradespeople, communicating company initiatives, resolving conflicts, and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. Qualifications include a high‑school diploma or apprenticeship, 5‑10 years of journeyman‑level craft experience, and 5‑10 years as a commercial general construction superintendent, with preference for healthcare, K‑12, or higher‑education projects. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $164,000 with a discretionary bonus, truck, relocation assistance, union healthcare, generous vacation and holiday time, clothing allowance, and training support.
