As a Senior Electrical Designer / Engineer, you’ll serve as a discipline lead across multiple MEP projects. You’ll be responsible for driving innovative electrical design solutions, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with clients and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage and coordinate design activities within multidisciplinary project teams
- Collaborate with industry-leading engineers and designers on high-profile, global projects
- Deliver innovative, code-compliant electrical system designs
- Consult directly with clients to understand needs and provide technical expertise
- Mentor and support junior engineers and design staff
- Contribute to project management and help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality
- Lead electrical design efforts on complex MEP projects across diverse sectors - including Mission Critical, healthcare, education, biotech, and Data Centers.

An established, employee-owned engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Designer / Engineer (MEP) to join their Chicago team. - Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or equivalent experience
- Proven project management experience within building services or related sectors
- Excellent communication, coordination, and client service skills
- Proficiency with Revit and other relevant design tools
- 10+ years of experience in MEP design and consulting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong understanding of building codes and electrical design systems
- LEED Accreditation or experience with sustainable design initiatives
📍 Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days remote / 2 days in-office)
