As the Project Network Officer, you will be required to manage the construction phase of Western Power’s asset driven and customer driven projects

  • Provide specialist guidance and share technical knowledge and experience to others within the immediate and wider teams.
  • Manage own work to respond to customer enquiries professionally and in the quickest possible timeframe.
  • Coordinate or perform complex technical work on Western Power networks.
  • Maintain and utilise an up-to-date knowledge of field practices and procedures.
  • Plan and implement multiple projects during their construction phase.

  • Strong experience dealing with external customers,
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written,
  • Hold all appropriate industry licences or certificates of competency,
  • It is essential that the incumbent possesses a relevant trade, diploma, or tertiary qualification,
  • Hold LOU and HOU Switching competencies,
  • Health & Safety knowledge relevant to the electricity supply and construction sector.
  • Best practice experience in project management (such as negotiation, planning, communication, use of initiative and problem solving) with a minimum of 8 years’ extensive experience,
