What you would be doing
calibration

Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs
Ensure all manufacturing paperwork is properly filled out and correct if needed
Move equipment in and out of the shop and organize yard of finished product and new arrivals.
Using gauges such as calipers and micrometers to measure products
Verifying all equipment is calibrated correctly
Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database
Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements
Collecting and compiling statistical quality data
Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality
Photograph units for documentation
Determining the causes of product defects and reworks
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and radiographs
Complete all quality control paperwork and sign off
Perform inspections on equipment throughout the production process.
Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods
Test drive/brake check all equipment

Lifting: The ability to lift up to 40-50 pounds is commonly required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Standing and Walking: Inspectors often need to stand or walk for extended periods while inspecting products or overseeing production processes.
Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time
Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
1-2 years of industry experience, 1-2 years of quality control experience preferred.
Visual Acuity: Normal visual acuity and the ability to distinguish colors are necessary for identifying defects and ensuring product quality
Reaching and Bending: Inspectors may need to squat, reach above shoulder level, reach at or below shoulder level, kneel, twist, and bend at the neck and waist.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Keen attention to detail
Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and computers
In-depth understanding of company standards
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Up-to-date knowledge of federal and industry standards and best practices
Understanding of target market and consumer needs
Documentation and reporting skills
Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications

Benefits
Pay: This is a non-exempt, hourly position and employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis
Upon the Completion of 90 days employees are eligible for:
Company Paid Life Insurance Policy for each full-time employee in the amount of $20,000.00.
