Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer - Dams

Description

Within the industry‑leading Dams team, you will engage in feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management, collaborating with specialists both nationally and internationally. The role offers flexibility to be based in Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Perth, or Melbourne offices.

• Design mechanical systems for dam operations and equipment integration.
• Inspect, investigate, and assess conditions of existing dams.
• Provide construction support, including quality control evaluation and reporting.
• Prepare tender documents and proposals while mentoring junior engineers.
• Build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and industry partners.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical design expertise with reports, drawings, and specifications, preferably in the dam industry.
• Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
