- Troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems to resolve software and hardware problems.
- Maintain maintenance logs and equipment documentation.
- Ensure CNC programs are properly loaded, executed, and adjusted as needed for production requirements.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC’s, including calibration and alignment.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of CNC and automated systems.
- Communicate equipment status as required.
- Perform hands-on development, troubleshoot, and improvements to high-speed automated equipment for the manufacturing of breakers.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control issues specific to CNC equipment.
- Participate in risk assessment events to reduce safety hazards in equipment.
- Use measurement tools and inspection techniques to verify part quality and machine accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to optimize CNC machining operations and reduce downtime.
- Assist in commissioning new equipment and startup validation.
- Apply technical knowledge in programming and troubleshooting to improve machine performance.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot CNC’s, ensuring optimal performance and precision in machining processes.

- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.
- Experience in reading and understanding equipment schematics, including electrical, control, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Highly organized with strong task prioritization.

- Experience with precision machining, tool changes, and offsets.
- Skilled in CNC operation, setup, troubleshooting, and programming (G-code).
- Motion control systems: Kinetix Servo Drives, Sinamics or equivalent.
- Effective interpersonal skills for team, vendor, and contractor collaboration.
- Knowledge of Rockwell Automation: Studio 5000 (RSLogix 5000), FactoryTalk ME/SE.
- Advanced process control: Fuzzy Logix, Profibus/Profinet, PID, Functional Charts, Ethernet-IP/TCP-IP, G-Code.
- Vision systems: Cognex (Insight 5000/2000/Micro), Keyence CVX/IV, Banner.
- Proficient in the use of engineering and productivity tools (CAD software, Office suite and AS400)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and machining specs.
- Proficient in spindle/axis diagnostics, calibration, and alignment.
- Familiar with EHS practices, regulations, and procedures.
- Written and oral fluency in English and Spanish.
- Minimum of TWO years of experience with automation equipment or relevant technical experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills across all levels.
