The RME Planner is a member of the Reliability Maintenance and Engineering team, working with the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) team and the Reliability Manager to maximize material‑handling equipment uptime for Operations associates. The role develops maintenance plans and schedules based on preventive maintenance activities, predictive data and KPIs, and screens work orders, audits equipment, and estimates labor, materials and tools to support a proactive reliability‑centered maintenance program.
Daily duties include traveling up to 15 % of the time, measuring and publishing facility PI metrics, and maintaining accurate equipment metadata such as manufacturer, model and serial number in the EAM system. The planner also manages work‑order data, user setups, schedules PM plans, routes and work packages, and ensures proper creation, planning, update and closure of work orders. Additionally, the role oversees spare‑parts metadata, drives materials‑management processes, conducts cycle counts, and supports the facilities team with data‑driven corrective actions.
The RME Planner provides Tier 1 EAM support, delivers software training to end users and new administrators, and serves as a liaison for problem‑solving and escalation. Coaching and educating staff on EAM best practices, as well as collaborating with corporate EAM Business Analysts to roll out new functionality and reporting, are also key responsibilities.
Required qualifications include a high‑school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience planning, scheduling and auditing facilities/maintenance activities, one year of Microsoft Office experience, and the ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights or holidays, with up to 15 % travel.
Preferred qualifications are an associate degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering or related fields, three or more years of enterprise‑software experience, project‑management experience, four or more years working with enterprise asset‑management software (Infor EAM ASE highly desired), and two years of data‑analysis experience in asset management and spare‑part optimization.
