Tasks

-Draft subcontracts for design or engineering services. Administer prime contractors and flow-downs to subcontractors, task orders, and modifications. Monitor contract performance by tracking compliance documents, schedules, and deliverables. -Handle contract management tasks, including preparing and issuing contractual communications, addressing project commercial and contractual issues, and liaising with subconsultants. -Procure and implement web-based contract management/administration tools. -Manage change notifications and change requests. -Oversee and contribute to the development, baselining, and tracking of the design schedule. -Interface with the AD lead and Operations. -Provide input in pricing disputes with prime contractors and subconsultants. -Review various project deliverables (e.g., Quality Control Manual, NCR responses) to identify and mitigate risks. -Oversee the commercial team, including project administration, scheduling, and document control. -Proactively manage claims and risks, initiate claims, dispute resolution, and respond to claims notifications. -Assist in bid preparation, contract negotiation, risk analysis, and pricing of design fees prior to project award. -Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to manage cost, schedule, and risk activities, ensuring contract compliance. -Develop incentive plans through alliances and partnerships with the supply chain and stakeholders. -Support the project team during the proposal phase, including reviewing RFPs and contracts for deliverables, risks, and notice requirements. Provide input on pricing and contingency, identify execution ambiguities, and suggest contract language changes.

What You Bring

-Professional Engineer (PE) license. -10+ years’ experience in commercial leadership of large infrastructure projects and/or programs, including Engineering, Design-Build, P3, project management, construction, project controls, and/or staff leadership or equivalent. -Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, law, or equivalent. -Master’s degree in related fields. -Experience using contract management tools, reporting, and financial systems.
