  • Performing wide ranging general counsel duties regarding legislation and regulations, as well as contracting, litigation, ethics, employment and open records matters.
  • Providing advice and support to the Office of the Commissioner relating to administrative dockets before the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
  • Support efforts to provide affordable and clean energy to all residents and business in an equitable manner; and
  • Manage, mentor, evaluate and support a legal team comprised of attorneys and paralegals;

  • Considerable knowledge of
  • Experience preparing written legal communications entailing legal research and analysis, including memoranda of law, legal briefs, decisions or opinions for judicial or administrative proceedings;
