Transaction Management provides end‑to‑end support for commercial‑real‑estate transactions, coordinating lease negotiations, renewals and space‑planning initiatives across diverse client accounts while maintaining strong relationships and service‑delivery excellence.
Interns become integral members of the team, working alongside analysts, transaction professionals and other associates, gaining insight into the industry and exposure to multiple lines of business throughout the program.
- Assist in managing transaction workflows for assigned client accounts, including lease transactions, renewals and space‑planning initiatives, while maintaining detailed tracking systems.
- Support account teams by preparing regular updates and performance reports to maintain client relationships and ensure service‑delivery excellence.
- Analyze lease terms, market conditions and space‑utilization data to compile property and market information for client presentations.
- Maintain organized client files and transaction records, ensure compliance with company procedures, and support contract administration.
- Coordinate between JLL service lines, clients, landlords and legal teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.

We are seeking a Summer Intern in Transaction Management. The role offers hands‑on learning of transaction coordination, client account management and commercial‑real‑estate market analysis.
The internship runs from June 1 2026 to August 7 2026 and is based on‑site in Washington, DC. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and be actively pursuing a bachelor's degree (2‑3 years completed) in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
Key qualifications include strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, excellent written and verbal communication, ability to manage multiple accounts with attention to detail, and a demonstrated interest in commercial real estate and client relationship management.
Benefits
Compensation is estimated at $8,936 – $10,500 per year; actual packages depend on qualifications, location and market conditions.
