The Delivery Director is responsible for ensuring seamless, safe, and efficient execution of all tower crane and site operations on major projects in Saudi Arabia. This role oversees the full lifecycle of operations—from planning and design through erection, maintenance, dismantling, logistics, and continuous improvement—ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
The Director plans and manages all aspects of site operations, including erection, dismantling, logistics, maintenance, and supply‑chain control, while ensuring full compliance with BS 7121, LOLER and Saudi regulations. He develops and implements a site‑wide lifting and cranage strategy, conducts inspections, prepares lift plans, method statements and risk assessments, and coordinates load lists, transport, rigging crews and shipment tracking. Stakeholder and performance management includes meeting contractual, statutory and profitability KPIs, building strong partnerships, analysing performance for improvement, reporting to senior leadership and supporting work‑winning and project planning functions. People management covers recruiting, developing and managing staff, implementing training programmes, conducting performance appraisals, maintaining training records and aligning manpower planning with HR. Safety and compliance duties involve fostering a safety culture, reviewing accident investigations, maintaining compliance documentation and plant records.
The role requires a minimum of 15 years’ experience in a similar position, strong project‑management expertise and in‑depth knowledge of crane operations. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or NVQ Level 6 equivalent and demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills, with a deep understanding of safety legislation and BS 7121 lifting standards.
