- Work closely with the IT Infrastructure Lead and Business System Manager to support infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Provide end-user support for IT and OT systems and maintain related documentation.
- Identify recurring issues and propose potential solutions while escalating more complex problems to senior resources.
- Assist with monitoring the performance of control systems to ensure operational status and compliance.
- Participate in R&D and compliance validation activities by gathering information and testing solutions.
- Support firewall administration tasks, including basic configuration updates and monitoring alerts, ensuring alignment with security best practices and organizational goals.
- Help configure VPNs, radios, and cellular devices used in field networking.
- Support inventory tracking and licensing for field and OT devices.
- Follow and document troubleshooting and escalation procedures.
- Assist in implementing security controls on new or existing systems as directed.
- Assist with site visits for audits, incident response, and remediation tasks as needed.
- Assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining IT hardware, including servers, network devices, and Azure resources.
- Help monitor network health, performance, and traffic under the guidance of senior resources.
- Help update network diagrams, system architecture documentation, and step by step guides.
- Document tasks performed and communicate effectively with teammates and stakeholders.
- Travel to satellite offices, warehouses, and remote field sites to assist with IT and OT support.
- Assist with troubleshooting data and communication network issues, including cellular, satellite, and radio (e.g., SIM card swaps, modem setup, and IP assignments).
- Help maintain cybersecurity standards, procedures, and documentation for IT and OT systems.
- Works Monday-Friday schedule with extended hours to support 24/7 operations, including on-call rotation covering nights/weekends/holidays.
- Execute assigned tasks independently with minimal direction.
- Perform quarterly patching, firmware upgrades, and support cybersecurity in OT upgrades and capital projects.

- Ability to travel across Texas-area field locations.
- Willingness to answer after-hours calls when on rotation.
- Experience in designing and implementing network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, and VPN configurations.
- Hands-on experience with IT equipment setup and configuration.
- Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
- 1+ year of exposure to cybersecurity practices.
- 1+ years of experience with: Networking, Identity Access Management (IAM), Group Policy Object (GPO), O365, and Azure.
- Proficiency in diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve network issues.
- Up to 15% travel
- CCNA – Networking
- Strong organizational skills and ability to document work clearly.
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, MPLS, and other routing and switching protocols.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Knowledge of wireless networking standards, access points, and wireless security protocols.
- Understanding of Industry Specific Standards such as DOT and API.
