Role
What you would be doing
- Gain a thorough understanding of the clients Quality Standards, specs and requirements within your area of responsibility.
- Assist with the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists etc. to ensure QA compliance.
- Conduct scheduled site visits and audits to ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Assist with the development and implementation of the GMC Quality Management System.
- Assist the project team with all QA/QC requirements.
- Liaise with testing laboratories and compile material test results.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organisation
- Become a subject matter expert of all QA/QC processes and provide guidance and training to project teams on same.
- Ensure corrective actions are closed out in a timely manner when identified in audits.
- Prepare quality documentation for tender submissions, including Quality Management Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Assist with developing Technical Bulletins and Toolbox Talks to raise awareness and communication of QA/QC items.
- Ensure quality records are maintained throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Assist with the project close out including project Safety Files where required in your area of responsibility.
