The Senior Learning & Development Trainer (Electrical Trainer) is a senior‑level role responsible for delivering hands‑on electrical trade training to early‑career electricians across multiple U.S. job sites. Reporting to a manager, the trainer uses extensive field experience to anticipate business needs and act as a frequent resource for the organization.
Key duties include designing new training programs, enhancing existing curricula, gathering feedback from participants, and creating lesson plans and training aids. The trainer works with significant autonomy, coordinates with various job sites, and delivers basic electrical trade instruction while managing complex projects.
Successful candidates will have at least ten years of electrical construction experience, preferably as a licensed Master or Journeyman electrician, and possess advanced knowledge of electrical construction and contracting. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills are required, along with the ability to handle confidential information, resolve workplace conflicts, and travel regularly to multiple sites.
