You will join the team that keeps automation projects moving, partnering with system integrators and manufacturers to ensure flawless performance on‑site. Typical travel rotations follow a 5‑on/2‑off, 10‑on/4‑off, or 14‑on/7‑off schedule, giving you real‑world experience with large customers while the ProAutomated team supports you. The role demands clear communication, troubleshooting, and validation of mechanical, electrical, and control systems in data‑center startups and warehouse fulfillment projects.
We are opening our 2026 hiring pipeline for curious, adaptable problem‑solvers who love travel, hands‑on work, and being part of a team that knows your name. The role begins with a four‑week paid training program that prepares technically skilled individuals for field work. Success in training requires a basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and communication networking, so candidates without exposure to these areas may not be the right fit.
At ProAutomated you’ll combine work with travel, experiencing new cities while delivering projects across North America, with no fixed office to report to. Starting salaries range from $60,000 to $75,000 depending on location, education, and experience, plus per‑diem, mileage reimbursement, utilization and weekend bonuses, and a 5 % salary increase after six months. Our benefits package includes health, dental, life insurance, a matching 401(k), disability options, paid vacation and flexible time off after 18 months, all supported by a people‑first culture where teammates know each other by name.
