The Director of Climate Impact will lead JLL’s climate workstreams and net‑zero initiatives, reporting to the Vice President of Climate Impact. This senior role oversees strategic development and implementation of the corporate climate program, covering program management, stakeholder engagement, and climate transition planning.
Key responsibilities include developing delivery plans, managing cross‑functional project teams, advancing data management practices, establishing performance metrics, and guiding technology solutions. The role also collaborates with sustainability leadership to ensure alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
The director drives continuous improvement through annual program evolution, strategic opportunity assessments, data analysis, and best‑practice recommendations. They support knowledge‑capacity building and create educational materials for program stakeholders.
Candidates need 8+ years of experience in climate strategy, emission‑reduction programs, or sustainability program management, with a preference for scope 3 expertise. A relevant degree, PMP or similar certification, and strong organizational and stakeholder‑management skills are required.
The position is based in Toronto, Chicago, Boston, or Atlanta with a hybrid schedule (1‑2 days onsite) and requires 2‑4 trips per year for stakeholder engagement. Visa sponsorship is not provided. Compensation is estimated at $120,000‑$180,000 USD annually, plus benefits such as 401(k) matching, comprehensive health plans, paid parental leave at 100% salary, PTO, holidays, and early wage access.
