In this role you will install and test electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and equipment, ensuring compliance with NEC code and customer specifications. You will install wireways, conduits, and cable trays, perform simple utility wire connections, read blueprints, and thread conduit. You will also maintain tools, keep work areas clean and organized, and follow safety protocols.
The ideal candidate possesses a high school diploma or GED, with a vocational or technical degree in electricity preferred, and a Master or Journeyman Electrician License is advantageous. Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and experience with commercial and industrial equipment such as MCCs, substation switchgear, and variable frequency drives is required.
