Identification and explanation of variances between current schedule, plan, earned values and forecasts, and communicate to the Project Controls Manager, Project Manager.
Load Resource/Budget Schedule - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower level planners.
Interface with other Project Control Team to maintain integrated cost-schedule project control system.
Advise on the areas of concern that could prevent meeting the P&L objectives.
Set up Baseline Schedule - Provide guidance and support to lower level planners.
Report critical schedule issues - guidance and support to lower level planners.
Prepare project schedule - Provide guidance and support to lower level planners.
Issue schedule for internal use - Provide guidance and support to lower level planners.
Prepare and update Resource requirements reports guidance and support to lower level planners.
Present updates to Lead/Manager/Project or P&L lead.
Issue schedule for External use - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower level planners.
Update Schedule Provide guidance and support to lower level planners.
Ensure proper progress measurement is in place for all projects and portfolios within the P&L through the whole project cycle.
Monitor and control the progress of the work against the Schedule - Provide guidance and support to lower level planners.
Extract Primavera data files and send to the cost controller - Lead and provide guidance and support to lower level planners.

Must have University degree (B. Eng, BCom, etc).
Solid report writing, communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills are required with attention to details.
Proficient in MS office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work with staff, build and maintain good working relationships with Project Controls team.
Ability to work well with Clients and Alliance partners.
Ability to mentor junior and intermediate staff and work with project cost controller.
Preferably thorough knowledge of Primavera P6.
15+ years of relevant planning & schedule, cost control experience, experience in engineering and construction projects environment.
Ability to learn new software as per the company standards.
Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
Expert Knowledge of project management techniques and a number of years of hands on experience (i.e., critical path method, progress measurement and earned value technique) and experience in Project planning, analyzing and reporting.
Strong analytical skills.
Nuclear New Build experience a plus.
Strong knowledge of the general project controls policies and procedures.
Effective problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
