What you would be doing

  • Inspect wire cuts and materials for quality and accuracy, reporting any defects or discrepancies.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality assurance throughout the handling process.
  • Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, coilers, spoolers, compartments, and A-frames.
  • Prepare materials for outbound shipments including picking, packing, shipping labels, packing lists, and staging.
  • Use wire cutting equipment to accurately cut wire to specified lengths, following product specifications.
  • Receive, inspect, store, and pick electrical materials including conduit, PVC, channel, and cable tray.
  • Ensure proper labeling of tag number, organization, and storage of the materials for easy retrieval.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through WMS transactions including footage marking management.
  • Receive incoming copper and aluminum wire shipments and verify their quantity and quality.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishing the inventory as needed.
