Key duties include entering orders into the computer system, reviewing order details with customers, and verifying delivery dates, times, addresses, and special instructions. Dispatchers educate customers on product options and direct them to the company website for tools and resources. They also process COD and credit‑card orders, quoting prices, approving charges, and handling transactions through a telecheck machine. Daily interaction with CSC personnel, delivery professionals, and plant staff ensures efficient deliveries.
Dispatchers monitor KPI dashboards, troubleshoot complaints, and document issues for escalation to management when needed.
