The Digital Imaging Technician is responsible for converting physical documents into digital format and performing junior‑level document‑control functions. The role demands strict adherence to handling protocols, quality standards, and information‑management processes.
The technician supports project teams by managing the flow of documents, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of digitized files. Equipment upkeep, workspace organization, and progress tracking are also part of the daily routine.
- Remove staples, clips, and bindings to prepare documents for scanning while preserving original order.
- Operate high‑speed, flatbed, and overhead scanners and conduct page‑by‑page verification for 100 % capture accuracy.
- Record document metadata, capture and index data fields according to client specifications.
- Perform daily scanner maintenance, monitor supplies, and keep the workspace clean and organized.
- Update daily progress tracking spreadsheets and maintain the Master Document Register.
- Process incoming and outgoing documentation, applying numbering standards and filing protocols.
- Coordinate with project teams on document deliverables and respond to status queries.

Candidates should possess at least a high school diploma or GED, with a college degree or related coursework preferred. One year of administrative experience and basic familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office are required, along with the physical ability to handle moderate lifting and extended computer work.
