The Resident Care Associate is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. This role includes hands‑on care, physical and emotional support as outlined in each resident’s Personalized Service Plan, while maintaining a safe, comfortable, home‑like environment and complying with federal, state, local standards and Phoenix policies.
Key duties include participating in the development and review of Personalized Service Plans, following resident hydration schedules, completing meal attendance records, respecting resident rights, initiating activities, and performing daily checks of cleanliness, clothing, continence, and condition changes. The associate also ensures proper sanitary procedures, monitors room and common‑area cleanliness, assists with laundry and hazardous‑chemical management, completes all Activities of Daily Living as prescribed, and responds promptly to call bells and security system alerts.
Education and experience requirements include a high school education (preferred), prior experience working with elders or disabled individuals (preferred), and being at least 18 years old. Knowledge of assisted living, dementia care, or skilled nursing is advantageous, and the candidate must be able to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours to meet peak service delivery needs.
