  • Collaborate with Director of Engineering on resource management for assigned projects.
  • Be the point of contact and lead on complex projects.
  • Consulting responsibilities including participation in site assessments and feasibility reports.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings.
  • Design and engineer Aquatic systems for new installations, system retrofits, system replacement, and system upgrades.
  • Manage aquatic design projects from preliminary design through construction.
  • Represent Landmark Aquatic by attending meetings and presentations.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships.
  • Responsible for managing scope, schedule and budget of assigned projects.
  • Establish goals, milestones, and procedures throughout the company.
  • Effectively coordinate schedule for all disciplines.
  • Operate within the organization's formal and informal structures, builds allies and relationships across departments, uses allies to build consensus and create results, is appropriately diplomatic, understands others' roles and perspectives and ideas across the organization.

  • Strong understanding of public health codes relating to swimming pools, spas and splashpads and building codes.
  • Effective time management skills with a proven ability to stay organized and on-track.
  • Able to convey information clearly and concisely and effectively build trust with others.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in several of our aquatic focus areas: pumping systems, filtration systems, water heating and chilling systems, chemical treatment and monitoring systems, energy modeling and cost benefit analysis.
  • Able to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Experience compiling and writing fee proposals, project interviews.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to aquatic design, engineering and construction.
  • 10+ years significant project experience with an emphasis on commercial aquatic design projects.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Proficient in use of technology including smartphones, tablets, and laptops and comfortable using software such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and cloud-based systems.
  • Professional Engineer license preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Project Management experience required.
  • Possess strong communication skills and business insight necessary to interact with clients, design professionals, contractors, internal staff and senior leaders within the organization.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or Structural Engineering.
