The Learning and Development Coordinator assists in the supervision and direction of all students, instructors, and learning activities required for compliance with applicable policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and standards. This person will also supervise and/or conduct learning and development sessions. In addition, they will assist in the identification of individual and facility development needs.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, and at least one year of experience in the criminal‑justice field is needed. Experience in training, classroom instruction, or curriculum development is preferred, and additional related work experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year‑for‑year basis. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software applications is required, and familiarity with learning‑management platforms is a plus. A valid driver’s license is also required.
