Senior Cost Manager (Construction Consultancy)

Description

• Provide effective support, mentoring and line management to Project Surveyors / Cost Managers, Graduates and Apprentices.
• Lead projects from a Cost Management perspective from inception to completion.
• Produce cost estimates, cost plans, procurement and tendering advice, and deliver post‑contract valuations, change control, reporting and final account.
• Take responsibility for project delivery and manage support teams.
• Ensure commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
• Develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and project team members and act as interface with AECOM clients (new and existing).

Requirements

• Degree (BSc or MSc) in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
• Chartered status with the RICS.
• Proven experience delivering full‑spectrum Cost Management services across projects.
• Ability to advise clients and design teams on cost, value and risk.
• Excellent IT skills and proficiency with digital measurement, cost planning and tender documentation tools.
• Experience in sectors such as Commercial, Industrial & Logistics, Residential, Higher Education and Mixed Use.
