The purpose of this office‑based role is to support the high‑performing Roofing Technical Team by managing incoming enquiries, gathering necessary information, and directing them to the appropriate staff to ensure accurate and efficient resolutions, thereby maintaining Sika’s high customer service standards. The role also provides exposure to live projects and technically driven specification tasks, helping the team meet deadlines and deliver an excellent experience to contractors and clients.
As an apprentice you will manage incoming calls and emails from internal and external stakeholders, gather additional data as required and allocate enquiries appropriately; monitor internal specification requests to ensure information is complete and accurate; and engage in technical processes that keep projects moving from opportunity through onsite work to the final guarantee stage. You must be able to work autonomously, be a strong team player, multitask, delegate, prioritise, pay attention to detail, and build professional relationships with stakeholders, while developing problem‑solving and technical knowledge.
The apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to learn while launching a new career, giving you experience in teamwork, communication, and our various roofing systems, and helping you build a strong foundation for a future in roofing. You will work towards an NVQ Level 3 qualification with strong support for both education and workplace learning.
The reward package includes a competitive salary and 25 days of holiday rising to 28 days with service plus bank holidays. Additional benefits are up to 10 % company pension contribution, private healthcare (with optional family cover), group life cover at six times your annual salary, global income protection, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, a staff discount platform, Cycle‑to‑Work scheme, dedicated service awards, and discounted Sika products.
